Legend of Zelda: Poem of Winds

I DON"T OWN LEGEND OF ZELDA

For one, it means life
For the other, it means death
Is it destiny that this is how it will end
With the hero named of the wind

For one it means death
Cries of pain fill the air when it blew
It burns the skin when the sun is about
And it freezes the soul when the moon comes out

For the other it means life
Cries of joy fill the sky as it pass through
It cools the body during the day
And warms the spirit when the stars come out to play

Darkness flows through the heart of a King
As he leaves the dry, burning sand
His travels have brought him far
To a world that was different from his land

Light flows through the veins of a Princess
As it has through her Kingdom's past
A gift that can see the truth
That her Kingdom's peace would never last

How can the thing he views as death
Be the thing that makes them live
How is it possible for the thing they love
Be something that make others drop dead

Darkness comes and banishes the light
Creating monsters that can aid him in his fight
The Princess is the only thing that he fears
But he couldn't get her and she disappears

Knowing the fate of her kingdom cannot be turn around
The Princess fled without much sound
As she flee, with darkness closing in
She gives a boy the treasure of her kin

The boy and his fairy watches as the kingdom fall
Trying to figure out what to do and where to go
He watches as the Princess leaves from a man so dark and tall
And he couldn't stop the evil King's massive blow

Both needed the boy to survive
Never knowing he is just a pawn in their game
One needed him for the light to be revive
The other needed him for darkness to reign

He waited for the day Darkness rules
She waited for the day Light shines through
The boy travels through the fabric of time
To clear the paths to the sacred shrines

How many trials had he face
For his destiny to become clear
How many lives must be lost
Before the end can come near

She needed him to bring the Light that has been lost
The boy she cares but barely knew
She guided him through a mask she wore
To hide herself to make sure evil never knew

He needed the boy to be alive
To bring the light out in the open
So he secretly kept an eye on him
And watch as the boy became a man

She let her guard down when she thought she was safe
And showed the man the power to defeat the Dark King
But that was the moment he waited so long for
He took her away and challenges the man to see what he would bring

So many years without a challenge
Not one fool has dare come to fight
But the man takes his offer and follows
Guided by the sages he comes to free the light

The ultimate battle is near
But some things are left unsaid
On the back of the three hands
The sacred mark suddenly appears

One of Wisdom is always with the Princess Kin
One of Courage always finds its way to the Chosen One
One of Power has been taken by the Evil King
The destiny that always repeats, it's never gone

A battle inside his fortress where darkness rules
The Man dressed in forest green proves
Some things are not what they seem
And puts an end to the darkness dreams

The castle rumbles, it threatens to fall
The Hero and Princess ran up to a wall
The Hero pulls out her treasure and played her family's song
They reached the end before something went unexpectedly wrong

Darkness refuse to give in
A demon beast rises again
Confusion and pain run though his mind
As the demon swipes the man from behind

Shadow covers and flames surround
Darkness cries a horrible sound
In the confusion a weapon is lost
Both beast and man want to win at all cost

A foreseen battle to the end
When the fate of her kingdom is known
A battle of Darkness and Light truly begins
Where Power and Courage is finally shown

To one he is a link to Power and darkness
To another he is a link to Wisdom and light
To himself he is a link to Courage found within
A name that last through the ages, only to be forgotten again

A prayer to seal the darkness away
Six souls awaken the power within and cast a spell
Anger rises in the Evil King as he falls
Forever trapped in a place only evil would call hell

United at last though darkness nearly won
The Princess and the new Hero talked time long past
She takes her treasure of her kin and plays an old song
Though the evil king knew his prison would never forever last

For the Princess and Hero are just time
And time can never fully hold him back
People lived happily for many years
Never knowing of the darkness waiting to attack
